Solitaire Scribe♥️

A system-neutral solo journaling game-companion requiring only a standard deck of playing cards to run! Play any TTRPG solo with just a deck of cards, creating daily challenges and opportunities for your character to expand their own story!

This system is easy to learn, with the basic rules fitting on just 6 pages (about 4,200 words)!!

With lots of examples and sample options to pull from, you'll be off and running in no time!

Here's how it works:

You can start with a character you already know and love from just about any TTRPG system! Solitaire Scribe will guide you through fleshing out that character in 3 ways:

1. Goals: Gotta have goals if you want to achieve anything in life!
2. Side-Characters: Allies, acquaintances, and adversaries for your character to bounce off of, propelling your story forward.
3. Agenda: An outline of your character's day-to-day activities, and a calendar to track progress

Goals and side characters are assigned to card suits and face cards. Numbered cards represent challenges of varying difficulty. Overcoming these challenges brings you closer to achieving your goals! Each day you progress (or regress) a little bit more, building relationships with NPCs and worldbuilding along the way.
